Vehicle and Vessel Rentals

Booking a Vehicle or Vessel:

You do not have to be 19 years of age to book a vehicle or vessel. However, EVERY booking does require a credit card. If the individual booking is under the age of 18, Damn Good Times or its affiliates may require confirmation from a parent or guardian.

All vehicles must be booked for a minimum of 2 hours. However, graduation and wedding bookings require a minimum of 4 consecutive hours. Splits for graduation and wedding bookings start at 5 hours.

All vessels must be booked for a minimum of 3 hours in low season and 4 hours in high season. There may also be a minimum of 4 hour for all weekends and holidays.

Deposits on any regular vehicle rental shall be minimum 25% of the contract price. Deposit for a wedding or graduation can range from 25%-50% of the contract price. All deposits are nonrefundable and must be paid on the credit card provided by the customer.

Airport service and cruise ship transfers are available as roundtrip only. There is an additional flat charge of $30 for all pickups at any airport or cruise ship terminal. There is a grace period of 30 minutes for all airport or cruise ship terminal pickups. Any waiting time spent outside that grace period will result in additional charges for the vehicle. The additional charges will be charged at the regular hourly rate of the vehicle in intervals of 15 minutes.

For trips going to or starting from the United States of America are subject to the regular rate as set forth by Damn Good Times or its affiliates. Any additional time spent at the border shall be charged at the regular hourly rate of the vehicle in intervals of 15 minutes. All customers crossing the border MUST have a valid passport. Failure to produce a passport at the border may result in the offending individual not continuing on with the charter. When entering Canada all customers MUST fill out a declaration form.

Other charges that may arise that are the responsibility of the customers include but are not limited to; parking, ferry costs, fuel surcharges, meals, overnight accommodations and police or bylaw issued tickets. Most of these other charges are special circumstances and will be discussed with the client at time of booking.

All bookings are subject to gratuities and or tax.

Cancellation or Itinerary Changes:

Damn Good Times Event Planners Inc. and its affiliates have a zero cancellation policy. All bookings made through Damn Good Times are firm and canceling any event will result in the credit card on file being charge the full amount of the services requested. Any itinerary changes are subject to a minimum administration fee of $20 per change. Any changes made by the customer are subject to the approval of Damn Good Times and its affiliates. Changes to the itinerary that cannot be accommodated will result in the original contract agreement and will not be subject to the administration fee.

Damn Good Times and its affiliates reserve the right to substitute any vehicle or vessel based on the inability of the original vehicle or vessel on the contract. The customer must understand that certain circumstances may arise prior or during their event that would make the switch necessary. Damn Good Times and its affiliates also reserve the right to terminate the trip due to but not limited to; unruly behavior, smoking, fighting, not following simple instructions, undue care for the vehicle or vessel, mischief and making conditions unsafe for the driver and or other motorists.

Damages and Cleaning Fees:

The customer is responsible for any form of damage caused by the customer or any member of his/her group. Damages incurred during the clients event will be subject to a minimum charge of $500.

The customer is also responsible for any excessive mess left on the vehicle or vessel. The minimum cleaning charge for an excessive mess is $300. Excessive mess includes but is not limited to spillage, garbage, smoking, confetti or vomit.

Lost or Stolen Items:

Damn Good Times or its affiliates are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. It is recommended that the customers do not leave any items on any vehicle.
